The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery La Sala del Torriano has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark shining ruby red. Memorable nose of ripe peach and freshly baked apple strudel, then again blackberry, inviting. On the palate red berries, very juicy and texture, polished and coherent, emphatic finish.
