The spumante Collezione Brut Metodo Classico Oltrepò Pavese DOCG, vintage 2007 from the winery La Versa has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay from the region Lombardia in Italy.
This has a brilliant light golden yellow colour. There is an inviting and delicately fragrant nose of blood orange, light honey, ripe peach, with an iodine undertone, it is a fresh and discreet bouquet. There is vivid and hearty fruit on the palate, and it is slightly salty, and has a cool style. It has a vivid and subtle aftertaste with a cool finish.
