The red wine André trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Landesweingut Kloster Pforta has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety André from the region Saale-Unstrut in Germany.
Very dark in colour. The aroma is reminiscent of plum cake with butter crumble, maraschino cherry, but then also a little pine conifer. The palate is not lacking in tannin, but nevertheless appears quite round and almost soft, a piquant acidity gives the wine juiciness and direction. Good minerality. Fruity, almost following the "glou glou" pattern.
