The sweet and dessert wine Sauvignon Passito Saphir DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Cantina Laimburg has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Rich, deep, dark golden yellow. Opens on the nose with notes of dried apricot and dried peach, with chestnut honey in the background. Very present on the palate, unfolds with rich fruit, an abundance of dried fruit, but also shows slightly spicy notes, some white pepper, which give the wine playfulness.
