The white wine Grauer Burgunder Landwein trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Brenneisen has been rated in 2018 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Characterised by spontaneous fermentation, pear zest. But also flavours of chestnut and chestnut honey. Quite noble phenolic flavours on the palate, striking acidity and tight concentration. Closer to a structurally characterised conventional Pinot Gris than to the orange wine type.
