The red wine Messorio IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Le Macchiole has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby colour with purple glints. The nose opens with pronounced savoury, spicy notes of celery and cardamom, followed by lots of blueberry. The compact and dense palate blooms beautifully, with wonderfully soft texture, dense tannin and a very long finish.
