The red wine Paleo Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Le Macchiole has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, flint ruby with light purple shimmer. Opens on the nose with notes of tobacco and blackberry, plus some sandalwood. Really emerges on the palate with lots of juicy fruit, dark cherry and mulberry, opens with dense, fine-meshed tannin and has fine drinking flow.
