The red wine Bergul Rosso Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Lis Fadis has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Schioppettino from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Bright ruby with a dark core. Initially shows appealing spicy notes on the nose, white pepper and cardamom, then lots of blackberry. Very well placed, fine-meshed tannins, some pepper, then lots of blackberry and beet, full-bodied drive on the finish.
