The white wine Lis Friuli Isonzo Bianco DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Lis Neris has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Intense, rich straw yellow with green reflections. A beguiling, complex nose with lots of vanilla and hazelnut richness, as well as floral dandelion and chamomile, and ripe peach and some lemon fruit. Drinks coherently and with no sense of overreaching itself - discreetly creamy texture is balanced by well integrated acidity, leading to a salty, persistent finish.
