The red wine Burggarten Spätburgunder, vintage 2017 from the winery Maibachfarm has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Ahr in Germany.
Citrusy wood notes, fig, malt and small red berries. The palate also reveals incipient maturity with beautiful elegance: on a supple base, acidity, minerality and a sinewy, taut tannin led tension and dynamism. The aromas are already a little more developed than the palate structure, but the minerality holds everything together.
