Tasting Notes
Very rich, deep dark ruby with violet glints. Emphatic savoury nose of rosemary and curry herb, then very fine, polished cherry fruit, grippy tannin, which is very well integrated, some black truffle, pithy and profound, full.
More about the tastingClear, intense ruby, with a subtle garnet sheen. Pronounced and inviting aromas of dark currants and cherries, underlaid with a subtle hint of liquorice. Lots of sweet texture on the palate, with rich notes of wild raspberry, opens up to reveal vivid tannins and a long, lingering finish.
