The red wine Solaia Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Marchesi Antinori has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby colour with a black core. Compact and exceedingly dense nose of ripe blackcurrant, mulberry, cardamom and a hint of beetroot. Rich and lush with ripe berries galore, opening up with tight, finely-knit tannin, embedded in mellow texture with a prolonged finish.
