The white wine Friulano Pesarin Zitelle FCO DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Meroi Davino has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points.
Bright pale straw yellow. Opens with fine oak notes, some light caramel, then fresh, yellow apple, with rich herbal savouriness in the background. Full and substantial on the palate, very good concentration, fine ripe fruit. On the finish, however, still clear oak dominance, still needs further ageing.
