The spumante Classese Pinot Nero Brut Metodo Classico Oltrepò Pavese DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Monterucco has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Lombardia in Italy.
A brilliant, bright lemon yellow colour with a glimmering core. Soft notes of yeast on the nose, roasted hazelnut, brioche, milk chocolate, also a touch of orange zest. Very juicy on the palate, a delicate texture, bright, vivid fruit, beautifully expansive, good length, fun to drink.
