The red wine Barbaspinosa Maremma Toscana DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Morisfarms has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby,. the nose shows ripe elderberries, wild berries, has hints of blackberry jelly underpinned by a delicate spice. On the palate dark berry fruit flavours, spreads across nicely, with drive, concentration, very mildly drying on the finish.
More about the tastingBright ruby red with a brightening edge. Elegant and floral nose of fresh roses, cherries and raspberries. On the palate spicy and bright with vivid acidity, shows lively interplay, in the aftertaste a fine drive with a touch of dryness.
