The red wine Vigna Molsino Gattinara DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Azienda Vitivinicola Nervi has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kien, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Clear ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Exciting and multi-layered nose, opens with notes of fresh cherry, then raspberry, then saffron and some flint. Lots of fine-meshed tannins on the palate, gripping and long, fine ripe fruit, salty and very long-lasting, lots of freshness on the finish.
