The red wine Gattinara DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Azienda Vitivinicola Nervi has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kien, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Clear ruby garnet. Finely drawn nose with notes of pomegranate, then strawberry, some beet. Firm, gripping tannins in the attack and on the palate, lots of ripe fruit, dried plum and preserved cherry, slightly malty notes on the finish.
