The red wine Seccal Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Nicolis has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Molinara, Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Elegant, dark shining ruby red. In the nose initially very restrained, shows with aeration only delicate caramel nuances with blackberry fruit. Juicy and with grippy tannin on the palate, vibrant acidity, spreads across nicely, firm drive on the finish.
