Deep dark ruby with an opaque core, purple reflections, and delicate brightening rim. the nose is underlaid with fine herbal savouriness, fine black berry confit, delicately ethereal ripe plums, a hint of olives and herbs, with a chocolatey touch. Tightly meshed and complex on the palate with taut tannins that will carry for a long time, dark nougat, mineral, salty, convincing length, good ageing potential.
