The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Pian delle Vigne has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby with bright garnet rim. Compact nose with notes of tobacco, plums and dark cherries. Blooms grandiosely on the palate, lots of fruit, ripe but not overripe, opens with many layers of fine-meshed tannin, powerful but also juicy.
