The white wine »Saveur« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Pieper Basler Weingut has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
Ripe, savoury aromas, with notes of melon and pear, flax, hints of beeswax, cool smoke and meadow flowers. On the palate, a powerful structure, full-bodied and textured, good extract, the ripe acidity is accompanied by a savoury minerality. Enjoyable both on its own and with food.
