The white wine »Saveur« Grauburgunder trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Pieper Basler Weingut has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
On the nose, notes of wood from barrel ageing, smoke, plus pear and some nutty aromas. On the palate, powerful, with quite an opulent texture, a well integrated acidity, good phenolics, almost viscous, punchy, will continue to age beautifully.
