The white wine Calvarino Soave Classico DOC, vintage 2023 from the winery Pieropan has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright, pronounced straw yellow colour. Elegant, multi-layered bouquet of ripe, yellow stone fruit with a smoky, mineral note and floral nuances. Fine fruit texture on the palate, with invigorating acidity, whets the appetite for the next sip, high drinking flow into the long finish.
