The sparkling wine Pieter Ferreira Rosé, vintage 2015 from the winery Pieter Ferriera Cap Classique has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl with 95 Falstaff points.
An intense nose holds notions of cherry with an aromatic lift reminiscent of rosehip and hibiscus tisane and black pepper. More air brings hints of dried cranberry and citrus peel. On the palate all this ripeness and richness is contained beautifully in a smooth, precise and supple body, enhanced by vivid aromatics. Both texture and structure make this into a very gastronomic wine.
