The red wine Bourgogne Pinot Noir »Les Nargilets«, vintage 2016 from the winery Pinto et Louis Mathieu has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Bourgogne in France.
The winemaker is a friend of Emmanuel Rouget and did an internship at KP Keller. Spontaneous aromas and reduction on the nose, as well as cherry fruit and floral undertones and restrained use of wood. The palate surprises from the very first moment with its density - grainy tannins add drive and the ripe acidity gives freshness and tension. The palate flavours echo the nose again, hinting at a wild and spicy development. Good length.
