The red wine Barolo Bussia Cicala DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Poderi Aldo Conterno has been rated in 2012 with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby with a slight garnet rim. Multi-layered and complex nose, initially showing some spicy notes, slightly of cinnamon and cardamom, then liquorice and plum. Very vivid on the palate, lots of juicy, dark fruit, opens with rich, dense tannins, woven like a dense carpet, enormously long-lasting.
