The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Poggio Bonelli has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Powerful ruby with a light garnet edge. Very fragrant and appealing nose of roasted hazelnuts, ripe dark cherries and lilies. Firm and gripping on the palate, lots of dark berry fruit, opens with vivid, dense tannin, firm drive on the finish.
