The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Poggio Bonelli has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Chianti in Italy.
Intense ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Open and accessible nose with notes of plums, some smoke and vanilla in the background. Characterised by grippy tannins on the palate, unfortunately dries out a little as it progresses.
