The red wine Eccellenza Passito Toscana IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Poggio Rozzi - Graf Toggenburg has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero, Colorino, Fogliatonda from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant dark ruby. Intense nose, initially with some tar and iodine, then pickled cherry, blackberry and dark violet in the background. Fresh and juicy on the palate, spreading richly with dense tannins and clear notes of new wood on the finish.
