The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Poggio Torselli has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby red colour with a light brick red rim. Undergrowth, mint, some black tea and lots of rich plum on the nose. Marked on the palate by harsh tannins, sharp acidity and an unpleasant use of wood.
