The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva 1427 DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Poggio Torselli has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark, rich ruby red. Very spicy nose of tar and leather, liquorice, blackberry. On the palate juicy, with grippy tannin, clearly shows dark fruit, then a little loosely knit on the finish.
