Very vivid black currant, nicely ripe, no bell peppers, and only a discreet oak element. On the palate exciting ripe tannins, lots of juiciness, it has a cool Markgräfler style combined with aromatic intensity. It is an excellent wine even with distinct lime minerality on the finish.
