Dark, almost black ruby garnet, opaque core, violet-ruby reflections. Delicate vegetal notes of heart cherries on the nose, fine tobacco and mineral notes, delicate hints of aniseed and caraway, sweet plum fruit. Elegant and balanced on the palate, fine chocolate notes, rather medium-bodied, sweet dried plums, candied orange peel, dark nougat on the finish, mineral on the finish, precisely made, will naturally benefit from bottle ageing and develop even more facets. Seems somewhat monolithic now.
