The red wine Sergioveto Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2018, vintage 2019 from the winery Rocca delle Macìe - Famiglia Zingarelli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red colour. On the nose there are notes of plum and Amarena cherry, plus elderberry, mint, distantly reminiscent of red baked apple. On the palate juicy, bright, spreads across the tongue with great play and lots of tension, slightly salty, finesse rich and a long finish.
