Bright ruby red with a subtly brightening rim. Open-hearted fruit, tomato, peach, rose hip, red apple, with a fine stony background, ferrous flavours. On the palate with grippy, stony tannins and racy, slightly exuberant acidity, with earthy tones, powerful, still needs time.
