The red wine Baffonero IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Rocca di Frassinello has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Rich, deep dark ruby with a black core. On the nose full of blueberry and blackberry, very appealing, and with nice spicy notes in the background. Dense gripping tannins on the palate, displaying a lot of power, dark berry fruit, very concentrated, round and full on the finish.
