The red wine Mittelburgenland DAC Reserve, vintage 2005 from the winery Rotweine Lang has been rated in 2007 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blaufränkisch from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Deep ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate brightening at the rim. Black cherry fruit with a delicate tobacco background on the nose, fine orange peel, some plum confit, nougat and spices. Juicy and sweet on the palate, elegant texture, fine plum fruit, firm tannins that are well integrated, already balanced, pleasant food companion with a pleasant fruity sweetness on the finish.
