Andrea and Stefan Lang keep the secret behind their award-winning winery in central Burgenland to themselves. In any case, they focus on the Blaufränkisch variety - Stefan Lang is not called a "Blaufränkisch artist" for nothing - and long maturation of the wines exclusively in wooden barrels. Because as the saying goes: "Good wine needs a long time." Many great red wines mature on the 30-hectare red wine estate.
After the family restructured the 300-year-old former Streckhof farm, it now combines tradition and modernity. All family members put their heart and soul into creating a modern red wine estate that uses the "old" and applies new knowledge and methods in an appropriate and innovative way. All of this is close to the Lang family's heart - not only in the private sphere, but in all matters relating to wine and in the interests of the environment, their soil and, of course, the wine lovers who appreciate their wines.
