The white wine Limoux AOC, vintage 2015 from the winery S. Delafont has been rated in 2018 by Thomas Schwitalla, Rainer Schäfer, Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
Subtle wood, fresh and spicy varietal aroma, aniseed, fresh corn, pear, supple on the palate, controlled alcohol (which becomes a little noticeable on the finish), a concentrated berry fruit and "warmth" in the background, but overall holding together well. Perfect food companion.
