The white wine Weisser Schiefer »S«, vintage 2018 from the winery Schiefer Wein has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Welschriesling from the region Eisenberg in Austria.
Very pale yellow, green hints, silver reflections. On the nose, reductive, nutty notes, wet stone, a hint of gunpowder, underlying white tropical fruit and a touch of lime zest. Juicy and elegant with a savoury note, Granny Smith apple, a hint of nut oil and a long and lingering salty finish with a touch of white nougat. A very good and special wine.
