Tasting from 30.06.2011: Peter Moser

100% unfiltered Tempranillo from the 18-hectare single vineyard "La Canoca". Matured for 20 months in new French (90%) and American barriques. Deep ruby colour. Elegant, extremely ripe black fruit on the silky palate with plenty of cocoa and wood, but also flavoured with herbs. Somewhat pomaded and sweet, with pronounced, still somewhat mealy tannins and a liquorice spicy finish.
