The white wine Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Shelter Winery has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
The nose is characterised by slightly buttery aromas, apricot and pomelo. But it also has iodine tones. On the palate, one senses some pronounced fruitiness and a fresh acidity. There also remains a stony minerality. An exciting and at the same time light-footed Chardonnay.
