Tasting Notes
Smoke opens the fragrance, behind it multi-layered red fruit, wild berries, cherries, herbal spice and rock flour, subtly fresh vanilla. On the palate, densely woven with fresh acidity and fine-grained, tight tannins, juicy fruit interspersed with mineral and spice, powerful, elegant and long.
More about the tastingRipe red fruit, delicate smoke, wild raspberry and black cherry notes, with herbs and ground rock too - a multi-layered nose. On the palate there's powerful, finely woven tannins and a fresh acidity behind the sour cherry core, and an echo of savoury herbal savouriness. The profile is dense and extremely elegant, with lots of ageing potential.
