The red wine 2022 »GG« Meersburger Bengel Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Staatsweingut Meersburg has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
On the nose, nice notes of cherry, currant and blackberry, followed by herbs and a touch of fresh wood. On the palate the wine has a lively acidity, fine tannins and a nice spiciness with earthy notes, followed hints of dried herbs.
