The white wine Würzburg Stein Hagemann Riesling GG, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Bürgerspital has been rated in 2019 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Franconia in Germany.
Some maturity comes through on the fragrance which also shows candy, wax, grapey notes, apple peel and rosewood. It is opulent in the mouth; soft with ripe acidity, which remains delicate and yet uplifting making the wine full-bodied on the finish. It has a mineral grip, is harmonious and completely self-contained. it will be perfect with crab toast.
