The sekt »Grande Réserve« brut nature, vintage 2012 from the winery Strauch Sektmanufaktur has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Delicate hint of fino sherry, with chalky notes, wet blackboard chalk, apple, raisin and roasted notes. With a soft, full body, the mild mousse and ripe fruit nestle on the palate. With subtle acidity, the finish proves to be so compact that one believes the wine has further ageing potential.
