Just like last year, the "Grand Réserve" impressed the tasters with its complexity and very fine mature flavours - there is still no sign of fatigue this year. Isabel Strauch-Weißbach and her husband Tim Weißbach demonstrate this consistent quality thanks to their own high standards: organic work in the vineyard, hand-picking and at least 15 months of ageing on the lees are standard for all their wines. They cleverly and harmoniously combine the classic Champagne grape varieties with the local ones: Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Silvaner, Gewürztraminer and even Siegerrebe.
