Dark, brilliant ruby with purple. Compact and deep nose, showing notes of cassis and ripe blackberries, fine spice in the background, especially cardamom, some marjoram. Supple and round on the palate, builds nicely, lots of finely meshed tannin with a velvety core, cassis and blackberry, very long finish.
