Medium garnet, delicate ochre rim, broad and bright rim. Multi-faceted bouquet, but still needs some air to open up, ripe cherry, fine oak and sweet spice notes. Nicely wrapped fruit on the palate, multi-layered aromatics, classic style, a powerhouse with excellent length, intensely spicy on the finish, it has reached perfect drinking maturity, becoming ever sweeter in the glass.
