The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta Casenuove has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Chianti in Italy.
Powerful bright ruby colour with brownish accents. It has an expressive nose with fragrances of rich black cherry, lightly floral notes of violet, liquorice, then some cocoa bean and pepper. Fresh on the palate with a nice interplay between the fine acidity and well-integrated tannins. It shows finesse and drive into the long finish.
